Technical Estimator
Receive project packages (drawings, BOQs, specifications, schedules) as assigned by the Manager.
Read, interpret, and analyze all project documents to identify the scope of work relevant to Building Solutions or Fit-Out products.
Prepare a structured Excel take-off sheet summarizing required quantities, product types, dimensions, finishes, and any relevant technical notes — ready for the Manager's review.
Submit all analysis outputs to the Manager for review and approval prior to submitting to the Coordinator for procurement pricing and quotation preparation.
Work primarily in AutoCAD 2D for drawing review, annotation, and advanced drafting tasks.
Read and interpret 3D model files (Revit, Rhino, SolidWorks, or other formats) to extract dimensions, and convert to 2D working drawings if needed.
Produce shop drawings, layout plans, or detail drawings when requested by the Manager.
Prepare 3D visualizations or renders when required for client presentations or internal review — software per available tools (SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, Lumion, or equivalent).
Provide occasional technical support to the Coordinator for walk-in clients and meetings.
Attend site visits when requested by the Manager to assist with measurement verification, drawing reconciliation, or technical assessment.
Support the team and project managers on site in technical documentation.
Site attendance is project-dependent and not a regular weekly commitment
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related design/technical field Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is essential Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy Good communication skills in English and Arabic; French is a plus Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Outlook and Excel (for take-off sheets and quantity schedules) Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; 1 to 2 years of relevant experience is an advantage. Preferred / Additional Skills: Experience with 3D software: Revit, Rhino, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Lumion, or equivalent Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field Site experience in construction, façade, or fit-out projects Familiarity with architectural metal products, façade systems, or building envelope materials Experience with BIM coordination or model-based quantity take-off Working knowledge of Odoo or similar project/ERP tools (Primavera P6, MS Project)
